Silla de Vaca 09.03.2024 Following in Rilke's footsteps, we came across an exciting former summer residence in Bad Godesberg, the Villa von der Heydt, also called Stella Rheni, known to us as the Aloisiuskolleg (boarding school). In 1906 and 1907, Rilke was a guest of the von der Heydt family there.
By chance we visited the Say Yes event fair today. Just like that.
We had an exciting experience. We were treated to magic at a high level, we had delicious snacks, enjoyed a cool drink and looked at friendly faces. We encountered bright colors, great decorations, great music performers and unique exhibitors.
We almost booked a trip to the Seychelles, so enthusiastically told Alexej Samoilow and his warm-hearted wife Nadine. First we had a sip of delicious Creole rum Takamaka.
It is always worth looking behind the gate and following your curiosity.
